Postpartum depression and anxiety therapy for mothers in Pennsylvania

Prenatal / Postpartum & New Moms Therapy

Becoming a new mother is a journey that can be both full of joy and deeply overwhelming. Whether you are a pregnant woman looking toward the future with a mix of excitement and worry, or a new mom struggling with a sense of self, adjusting to new life demands, or facing feelings of depression or anxiety, please know that you are not alone! Adjusting to new life challenges, whether it’s hormonal imbalance, sleep deprivation, changes in your body, or the pressure in your partnership or marriage, may disrupt your daily life and add stress to an already challenging time.

Sometimes, these feelings ease with time, as you settle into your new routine. But other times, they may stay for a little longer, disrupting your daily life and adding stress to an already heavy load. It’s okay to feel uncertain, sad, or overwhelmed—reaching out for support is a courageous and significant step in caring for yourself and your growing family.

Our therapy space is where you don’t have to sugarcoat how you’re really feeling or explain yourself a hundred times. You can say the messy, scary, “I don’t know if this is normal” thoughts out loud—and know they’ll be met with understanding, not judgment.

Together, we make room for everything you’re carrying: the shifts in motherhood, your relationship, your sense of self as a woman. This is a place where you get to exhale. Where nothing you feel is “too much,” and you don’t have to be okay to belong.
